“To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson

Every person is unique in their own way. From our perspectives to our interests, there is not one person that are a photocopy of ourselves.

Where I have lived

For 22 years, my family and I have lived in multiple states. My birth state was Florida. Afterwards, we moved to five other states: Texas, Colorado, Kentucky, Michigan, and California. Each state was a new experience for me as I made and lost friends, and memories that I will not forget. Right now I am doing my undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering at Michigan Technological University in Houghton, Michigan (the U.P. of Michigan). Though the interesting part is that I was born in a state where it is mainly warm then moved north where I began to adapt to the Northern cold.

Education & School Clubs
I spent my pre-elementary to 4 years in Central Elementary School, then finished my elementary years at Klondike Lane Elementary School. In that same area, I did my middle school years at Myers Middle School. Sadly it closed in 2014 due to its poor performance (link to the article here). I will always remember you. Lastly, I did my high school years at Loy Norrix High School.
In middle school, I was in 3 clubs: Marathon Runners (where we run 5k, 10k, and 10 mile races together), 4H (a nation wide leadership organization), and the middle school jazz band.
In high school, that number went up to 6. DECA (a nation wide business focus organization), Green School Project (a club that figure out ways to reduce our school’s carbon foot print), Anime club (a club where we watch and discuss various of anime), National Honor Society (very similar to 4H in terms of focusing on leadership), the high school’s jazz band, and cross country.
